Curb Your Enthusiasm reaches its tenth season

The wait is over! The tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is finally here! Viewers can now enjoy this acclaimed series of a character who, without a doubt, sees the world in a peculiar way.

The show supports the idea that there are people who have unique ways of organizing their ideas, logic, reality, and language which lead us to organize -or disorganize- such reality.

In one of the most recent promotional clips for Curb Your Enthusiasm’s tenth season, Larry David walks into a doctor's office and sits on the couch in the waiting room.

The receptionist then asks if he has an appointment for which he answers no.

She then asks if he needs to see the doctor, and he replies that he doesn't need to see a doctor.

“What are you doing here then?”, she asks. “Well”, Larry replies, “I needed a place to wait.”

And therein lies magic behind Larry David; the absurd logic and reality of someone who advises a mailman that if he’s going to have a serious argument, he should “wear long pants.”

Or of someone who, when you comment that there are no parking spaces, he replies that indeed there are available spaces...they’re just “occupied.”

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 10

In the end, it's about the art of bringing that way of thinking into the world; showing others how wrong they are about their perception of reality, or language, which is what shapes and defines our world. If this is a waiting room, then the simplest logic says that waiting rooms are... for waiting. And if someone doesn't understand that, then you have to let them know.

In essence, isn’t Larry David correct?

HBO's tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, an award-winning and acclaimed series conceived by the creator of Seinfeld, Larry David; a character personified in his television equivalent “Larry”- a fictional representation of the real Larry. He has an abnormal way of organizing his thoughts (and view of the world) for which he certainly deserves a series for himself (or his fictional self). Through Larry, the audience can know not only what triggers his mind, but also the fixations and actions that are the product of his unique personality.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 10

The world doesn't need to be extraordinary for someone to take us and tell us an entertaining story.  What does need to be extraordinary is the creative mind that disorganizes or reorders that world at every moment; whether it is through improvisation, without rigid limits and breaking closed barriers in the world.

And this is why Larry David has decided to record the show without pre-established scripts and on the basis of improvisation, with the tenth season continuing this concept through the commitment of all the actors.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 10
