Euphoria returns to HBO with two special episodes

The Emmy® award-winning series Euphoria is back with two special episodes, the first premiering on Sunday, December 6 exclusively on HBO and HBO GO.

After being abandoned by Jules at the train station and having a relapse, the first special episode follows Rue (played by Emmy® winner Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas. Written and directed by the series' creator, Sam Levinson, the episode entitled Trouble Don't Last Always also stars Colman Domingo who was part of the first season. The title and air date of the second episode will be announced soon. Both special episodes were produced following COVID-19 prevention protocols.

Euphoria received three Primetime Emmy® Awards this year, including Best Leading Actress in a Drama Series (Zendaya), Best Contemporary Makeup (No Prosthesis) and Best Original Music and Lyrics.

Euphoria was created and written by Sam Levinson, who also serves as Executive Producer; Executive Producers Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Drake, Future the Prince, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady and Gary Lennon; Will Greenfield serves as Executive Co-Producer. Produced in association with A24, it is based on the Israeli series of the same name, which was created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin of HO
